Self-Guided SSP Program

The Self-Guided SSP option is designed for those who already have some awareness of their nervous system — how it responds to stress, and the tools they actively use to support regulation. With the freedom to move at your own pace, in your own space, you’re invited to trust your inner rhythm and navigate your journey with confidence and autonomy.

This option may be right for you if:

  • You have an existing practice in self-regulation and nervous system care

  • You’re able to notice shifts in your nervous system state and take steps to return to balance

  • You already have support in place (e.g., a therapist or care provider) and will continue working therapeutically alongside SSP

  • You prefer a flexible, self-paced approach

  • You’re returning to SSP for a refresher or maintenance round

What’s Included:

  • Introductory Online Session: A one-on-one session to explore your goals, nervous system profile, and create a customized listening plan tailored to your needs and capacity

  • Progress Check-ins: Email reflections at the end of each listening hour to help us notice shifts and adjust the protocol before moving forward

  • Ongoing Email Support: Available Monday–Friday to answer questions, assess progress, and adjust pacing as needed

  • One Round of SSP Core: Plus access to other SSP pathways if desired or clinically appropriate

  • Access to the SSP App for One Year: Additional time available if needed ($145 CAD for extended access)

  • Optional Online 1:1 Sessions: Additional support available at $90 for 30 minutes or $180 for 60 minutes — ideal for check-ins, provider-supported listening, or skill-building

Additional Requirements:

  • Over-the-Ear Headphones: Required for optimal listening and effectiveness

  • Assessment & Consent Forms: Must be completed before starting the program

  • SSP User Account: You’ll receive instructions to download the app and create your login credentials

What to Expect:

Listening sessions typically range from 5 to 30 minutes and may occur daily, every other day, or spaced out over several days — depending on your nervous system’s readiness and what feels supportive. You’re encouraged to gently track your experience, notice shifts, and reach out if anything feels unclear or uncomfortable.

At the end of each hour of listening, we’ll connect via email to reflect on your experience. These check-ins help us name any changes and ensure the protocol continues to meet your needs before moving forward.

  • One-time payment of $850 CAD

  • Payment plans available

Note: Many extended health benefits plans offer coverage for services provided by a Registered Social Worker, including Social Work and Psychotherapy. I encourage you to check with your provider, as you may be eligible for reimbursement.
